QUEST FOR JACKIE CHAN - URBAN ACTION FILM FORUM

Come along and engage in an entertaining night, as we discuss the future of Action Films in Australia and how we can make a change to see action films made here. If you are a Jackie Chan fan, you have the chance to record a message to him. All a part of Maria Tran's Documentary, The Quest for Jackie Chan. She will meet him in November in an attempt to convince him to come to Australia to encourage Action Films to be made here. Australia can make great action films....what do you think? Do you want to? FILM NETWORKING FUNCTION - 20th October 2010

Come along and meet other Perth Filmmakers and Actors at our next Networking event to be held on the 20th October, at a venue to be advised. 7pm to 10pm

VENUE FOUND FOR ACTORS LOUNGE

Yes, we have a venue. Valentino's Cafe and Restaurant, Northbridge are donating their upstairs space for the Perth Film Network. It will become a place where Actors and Filmmakers can come along, enjoy a coffee, drink or a meal and be able to openly practice their lines and acting. We will also be able to hold regular one evening workshops, which are run to keep actors skills up. The Lounge will run every Wednesday night and we will be launching it within the next two weeks. Please note that you need to be a Perth Film Network member to access the Actors Lounge.

BREAK IT DOWN AND ELITE SCENES POSTPONED..

The Break it Down Workshops will all be postponed to early 2011. This is due to the fact, that we use Industry Professionals in these courses and we are only able to run them if these professionals as available. Due to some fantastic film projects now in Pre Production, we are unable to run these events at this time. We will be seeking funding soon to look at bringing other professionals over from the Eastern States. Sorry if this causes any inconvenience.

Showreels Elite Scenes is now running at anytime, however, again depends on the availability of our professional Directors.
